Great British Spring Clean at Brean

About Us

March 1st marked the official beginning of Spring, and the Great British Spring Clean across the UK.  However, due to the most significant snowfall we have seen for some years, events to mark the occasion were postponed until later in the month.

So, in line with this, we have rescheduled our Beach Clean for Saturday 24th March meeting at the main Holiday Resort Unity park reception at 10am.  Please ensure you wear a good pair of thick, warm gloves.  We will provide you with litter bags.  All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult please, and dogs are welcome to come along too, so why not make it part of your Saturday morning dog walk and pick up a few bits of litter along the way?

Holiday Resort Unity, which incorporates Brean Leisure Park, Brean Play, Brean Splash and Brean Golf Club, are committed to helping look after our local environment… Last year we were once again awarded the Gold accolade in the David Bellamy Conservation awards, as well as achieving the “5 in 5 Hedgerows” badge for our bee, butterfly and wildlife friendly hedges, and are a BBKA Honey Bee Friendly Park.  Despite being a very large holiday park, we also hold the Highly Commended award in sustainable tourism, presented at the 2016 Bristol, Bath and Somerset Tourism Awards and are constantly making improvements to ensure we are working towards a better environment.
