About Us
Bridgwater Quayside Festival on Saturday 29th July 12pm - 6pm is a new outdoor summer festival with live music, street arts, street theatre and a variety of entertainments, activities andattractions. It is supported by Sedgemoor District Council and Bridgwater Town Council.
The festival will be in Blake Gardens, West Quay, East Over, Fore Street and Angel Place with events in the Library and at Bridgwater Arts Centre. King Square will host Opera Garsington a large screen event bringing Opera onto the street.
The Festival is organized by Fuseperformance, a local outdoor arts company that has worked in Bridgwater over the last 20 years creating family and circus events, youth and community projects, school/college projects and community lantern processions.
We would like to create a family friendly festival that celebrates the diversity of cultures and communities that make up the town. It will be an event for everyone to enjoy with lots of free family activities and wonderful performances. We also want to meet local businesses, charities and communities to talk about how you might like to get involved with the Festival. You might like to run a stall or an activity, perform at the festival, create a flag or banner, sponsor an advert, walk on stilts or help out on the day as one of the festival team.
Contact us for further information or with your ideas about how you might like to get involved with the Festival.
