Visit Weston are delighted to support a recently opened houseplant shop in Weston-Super-Mare that had the courage to open during Covid-19 lockdown in 2020. They stock a full range of houseplants and accessories to maintain and keep your houseplants looking good.
The team of three is not new to houseplants and has supplied shops and garden centres throughout the U.K. with quality plants for the past three decades and this still continues today. During the lockdown, the shop has been open to customers, following all safety guidelines. A click-and-collect service is also available.
The lovely little shop is centrally located next to Lloyds Bank and opposite the Italian Gardens. It’s an Aladdin’s Cave of treasures, filled with unusual plants alongside some better known ones and you’ll be amazed at the amount of knowledge and cheerful service you’ll receive.
Got a difficult windowsill without much sun? Or the opposite, one that is in full sun? They’ll advise you on the best plants to suit the room, those that prefer shade or sunlight. The team has also spent time developing an easy care advice system which will give you the exact care information you need to look after your plant, this includes general information, care, secrets of success, aftercare and importantly safety information for children and pets. They even show QR codes on pot plants to give you access to the above, just point your smartphone camera at the QR code and follow the link.
The plants are supplied by their own national trading company, sourcing pot plants from some of the best growers of pot plants there are and never from wholesale markets. You can also purchase attractive plant holders, feeds and accessories that make it simple to buy a complete gift for yourself, a friend or a loved one.
With pot plants, like most things in life, you get what you pay for. There is always a cheaper alternative but with plants they believe it’s worth buying a good healthy plant to start with that has been kept in a similar surrounding to where you will give it a home.
