About Us

Mendip has been delivering adventurous outdoor activities for nearly 40 years, growing from humble beginnings to the largest outdoor activity provider in the South West!

In 2012, we found a new home as we moved into the Churchill Ski Centre to create Mendip Activity Centre. Only 15 minutes from Weston-super-Mare, Mendip Activity Centre is a one-stop location for adventure - there's something for everyone to enjoy!

All of our activities can be booked online and should be booked in advance. We offer a wide range of activities, including:

The 165m snowsport slope open for beginner lessons, refresher courses or slope passes for experienced skiers and snowboarders.

One of the largest frisbee golf courses in the UK. Purpose-built target sport ranges for archery, air rifles and axe throwing sessions. Forest school sites

A dedicated toboggan slope, suitable for ages 4+. Keep an eye out for seasonal themed sessions such as our infamous Twilight Tobogganing.

Our private rocksport quarry, the perfect location for beginner climbing and abseiling sessions on real rockface and an onsite cave!

Mendip also has a private watersports site at Hewish, just outside of Weston-super-Mare. Here you can take part in our assault course sessions, kayaking, canoeing, stand up paddleboarding and raft building activity sessions.

Need a bite to eat while you're here? Pop by to our Alpine-inspired rooftop cafe-diner, serving burgers, loaded fries, hot dogs and milkshakes!

BOOKING FOR A GROUP? On top of all of this, Mendip Activity Centre hosts school activity days and residentials, corporate team building activity sessions, Stag and Hen parties and birthdays for all ages!

Onsite are two canvas villages and a residential lodge that are booked exclusively for private groups during the term time and open to public bookings every Summer.
