The Seaward Hotel

About

The Seaward Hotel is a family run, traditional Metro hotel occupying a prime position on Weston's seafront and overlooking the Grand Pier and Weston Bay, including Marine Lake and Knightstone Island.  You really couldn't ask for a more spectacular location.

There’s always something to look at and for somewhere to go in the evening, you couldn’t be in a better place.  The Seaward itself offers regular evening entertainment and along the bay, there are several other bars and patio bars offering lively fun and excellent choices for dining out.

The Seaward is a friendly hotel with excellent service and is affordably priced. It is renowned for its great food, which is locally sourced and attracts the local community and tourists all year round.  Their Sunday carvery is exceptional value for money and pre-booking is recommended.  What makes the hotel is its staff, they really do give you a warm welcome and nothing is too much trouble, you’re treated as a person, not a room number.

Each of the 53 rooms is fitted with en-suite facilities, some with bathtub and some with showers.  All have flat screen televisions and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. Many bedrooms and the lounges have spectacular sea views over the beach out to the Bristol Channel and beyond.  The hotel is gradually refurbishing the rooms and almost half have been done recently.  If you’re in an un-refurbished room you might find it a little tired and dated, but clean and comfy all the same and with all the facilities you’d expect.

There is disabled access to the hotel and all floors are accessible by lift, with a few rooms being on the ground floor, however none is kitted out specifically.   The hotel also offers free WiFi and welcomes assistance dogs but not pets.

Car parking is available at two pay-and-display car parks very close by but there is no parking at the hotel itself.

The hotel is a good, solid hotel that has a 2 star rating with Visit England and is rated as one of the best 2 star hotels in Weston-Super-Mare.  It is also proud to hold a 5 star food hygiene rating.

The Seaward welcomes families, couples, organised coach tours, business clients, one night stays and party bookings, including weddings, Turkey & Tinsel breaks, right through to Christmas, Twixmas and New Year breaks.

It’s across the road from the Promenade, and beach and very close to the best value children’s entertainment in town, The Water and Adventure Playpark as well as The Grand Pier.  Also nearby is a top Italian restaurant, real ale pubs and bus stops.  There is regular seasonal entertainment on the outside patio and the bar and restaurant are open to non-residents.  It's a great spot to enjoy a sundowner whilst marvelling at the spectacular sunsets that Weston-super-Mare enjoys.

You’re within 10 minutes’ walking distance of the town centre with its two theatres and two cinemas along with independent and high street shops and a variety of things to do, places to go and places to chill.

The Seaward is on the scenic bus route to the neighbouring Sand Bay at Kewstoke.  It’s a 3 mile journey through woodland and lovely scenery along a narrow old toll road.  In fair weather, it’s an open-top bus and you can pick it up at The Grand Pier, just a short stroll from The Seaward.  At Sand Bay you will find a long, sandy beach that is popular with dog walkers and horse riders year round and at the north end is Sand Point, a beautiful country walk along National Trust operated land.

Love Weston, Love The Seaward Hotel!
