About Us

The Annual Wassail Returns to Tyntesfield

Join us on Sunday 26 January for the Annual Tyntesfield Wassail, where we'll scare away evil spirits and bless our apple trees. Come along and join in the merriment (and Morris dancing by Kittiwake Border Morris) as we toast to a fruitful harvest in the autumn.

Festivities will begin at the front of Tyntesfield House. Attendees will then be led in a procession down to the orchard where there will be refreshments available to buy and an option to join in with a ceremony blessing the trees

Bring your noisiest pots and pans and join us from 1:30pm - 3pm to celebrate this Anglo-Saxon festival of music, song and dancing.

This event is free, but normal admission charges apply for the venue
