This October, Wookey Hole is transforming into the Home of Halloween, packed with magical adventures, spooky surprises and unforgettable family fun.
Deep beneath the Mendip Hills, explore the famous Wookey Hole Caves and experience spectacular immersive projections (new for 2026) that bring the legendary story of the Witch of Wookey Hole to life amongst ancient rock formations. Follow a mysterious pumpkin trail, solve the Witch’s puzzle and claim a Halloween prize.
The Witch herself will be making special appearances throughout the event, with families invited to come dressed in their best Halloween costume for a magical photo opportunity. Every child who meets the Witch in fancy dress and has their photo taken with her, will be entered into a daily prize draw to win a year-long Wookey Hole Membership, including entry to the attraction’s brand-new Winter Wonderland experience.
There’s even more spooky fun above ground, including the all-new Monster’s Ball Circus Show, Halloween-themed Monster Golf, a thrilling 4D cinema adventure, giant indoor soft play and dozens of other family attractions, all included in your ticket.
Why let the magic end when the day is over? Turn your visit into a memorable Halloween mini-break with an overnight stay at the nearby Wookey Hole Hotel. Family packages start from £199 for a family of four and include comfortable family accommodation and tickets to the attraction. Spooky stays are available on selected dates throughout the Halloween season.
Running every weekend from 3 October and daily throughout the school holidays from 24 October to 1 November, Wookey Hole offers one of the South West’s most magical Halloween experiences for families. Book now and discover why Wookey Hole is the Home of Halloween.
