The Weston-super-Mare Sea Shanty Festival is a joyous seaside party like no other and this FREE three-day festival of folk music and sea shanties is calling you!

This is a feel-good foot-stomping party that you’ll want to be part of. It centres around the main stage in Italian Gardens and splinters into pubs and bars across the town. Expect booming harmonies, infectious rhythms, and plenty of laughter. It’s free to enjoy, but supporting the venues with a pint keeps the good times flowing- and the voices strong.

Dress Up & Dive In
This is your excuse to go all out. Pirates, sailors, sea creatures – anything goes. The more “in character,” the better. Whether it’s a tricorn hat, striped shirt, or full-on buccaneer costume, dressing up is actively encouraged.
