About Us
The North Somerset Samaritans are hosting a comedy night featuring Mock the Week comedian Laura Lexx.
The fundraising event will take place on Thursday 14th November in Wedmore at the Post and Wicket. Tickets are available at £25 per person and include a welcome drink and sharing platter.
Michelle McQuarrie, Fundraiser for the North Somerset Samaritans said: "We're delighted to have secured the performances of outstanding comedians Laura Lexx as well as the award-winning Chelsea Birkby and 'English Comedian of the Year' Nick Page. It's set to be a brilliant night!"
Every day, Samaritans volunteers respond to around 10,000 calls for help. The charity has 20,000 volunteers across 201 branches throughout the UK and Ireland and are available 24 hour a day, 365 days a year for anyone who needs support. Each branch is financially independent and relies on donations from events such as this to keep running.
