About Us

Each month, our Theatre Bar is used as a space for local artists to display their work. This is available to view during our monthly Volunteer Coffee Mornings & 1 hour before any show or event.

The artist for July is Debbie Van-Der-Watt.
She was born in Weston and loved art at school, but after moving to South Africa at the age of 12, art as a school subject was no longer an option so her art took a back seat to education, work and a family.
Many years later, Debbie found herself doing art again as a therapy for pain management and has not looked back since. Her inspiration comes from nature, and she loves the affects you can achieve and experience using watercolour. Although she has recently been experimenting with other mediums and styles.
The colours that you can see in landscapes and the beauty in creation makes her want to recreate it and hopefully make somebody smile.
Therefore, her exhibition is entitled "The Beauty of Nature".
