Sunday 13 December 2026
Get ready for a spectacular festive convoy as up to 170 brightly decorated Volkswagen vans and cars take to the streets of Weston-super-Mare for the annual Vee Dubs Christmas Cruz.
The event is now firmly established on the calendar as one of Weston’s must-see events.
Starting in Worle at 5.30pm, the convoy will make its way through the town and along the seafront, with hundreds of Christmas lights, festive decorations and plenty of Christmas cheer creating a magical moving spectacle of lights for spectators.
From tinsel-covered campers and sparkling lights to Christmas trees, Santas and wonderfully imaginative decorations, the Vee Dubs Christmas Cruz is a fantastic way to get into the festive spirit. Find a spot along the route, wave the convoy through and enjoy the atmosphere as the illuminated Volkswagens make their way across Weston.
When and where
The Cruz sets off from Queensway Retail Park, Worle, at 5.30pm, before travelling through Worle and Weston-super-Mare, passing the Grand Pier and continuing towards Winterstoke Road.
The convoy is expected to arrive at The Range, Weston-super-Mare, at around 6.15pm.
The route
The 2026 Sunday Cruz is expected to follow the same route as last year:
North Worle → Worle High Street → Milton Road → The Boulevard → Weston seafront → past the Grand Pier → Oxford Street → Station Road → Hildesheim Bridge → Winterstoke Road
The event is organised by Vee Dub Family, with the aim of bringing together as many festive Volkswagens as possible to spread Christmas cheer throughout the local community while raising money for The Grand Appeal, the official charity of Bristol Children’s Hospital.
Whether you’re a lifelong VW fan or simply looking for something fun and festive to enjoy with the family, the Vee Dubs Christmas Cruz is a Christmas spectacle not to be missed.
