About Us
From childhood to adulthood stories are ever present. Great stories are universal, they give us a character to root for and appeal to our deepest emotions. Great stories are surprising and unexpected. And the greatest story tellers skilfully create compelling narratives that stick with us across stage, screen, literature and song.
Following their sell out Christmas show, 'Comfort and Joy' Weston Brass return to the Blakehay with another blockbuster as they take you on a musical journey: The Greatest Storytellers. Join us for an evening with one of the South West's finest brass bands as they celebrate the life and works of world famous names such as Shakespeare, Agatha Christie, Steven Spielberg and Stevie Wonder.
Weston Brass will be joined again by former BBC Radio Bristol presenter, Emma Britton, who will be your storyteller for the evening, bringing to life the musical programme.
The concert is in support of Mind in Somerset, with a donation from every ticket sale supporting their fight for better mental health support.
