About Us
The Criterion is a proper old fashioned pub in Weston-super-Mare, which comes with a friendly welcome.
The traditional tavern in Upper Church Road, which is in the Knightstone area of the town, sells a range of real ales, lagers and ciders on draft and a selection of spirits.
The pub is a throwback to pubs as they used to be and has a loyal local clientele and occasional live music.
It has a warming and welcoming fireplace and with plenty of different ales on offer, you are assured of a good welcome and an excellent pint.
The pub is a full of character and is a bit of a locals’ secret but it is one they are quite happy to share with visitors who receive a warm welcome.
This watering hole wears its Cask Marque accreditation with pride.
It serves a selection of locally-sourced real ales, ciders and premium lagers, as well as spirits, wines and sparkling wines and an extensive selection of gin.
It is dog friendly, and supplies dog water and snacks.
