A Beach to Brag About

Once a locals’ secret, Uphill Beach is now celebrated as one of the UK’s top dog-friendly beaches. In 2023, it was named the best dog-walking beach by Parkdean Resorts, a claim backed by its staggering 23.2 million views on TikTok. Its wide sandy expanse is perfect for furry companions and their owners alike.

A word of caution: while Brean Down’s impressive rock face beckons from across the water, don’t attempt to walk out to it directly. The inviting sand can quickly turn into dangerous sinking mud.
