Weston Wallz has transformed Weston-super-Mare into one of the UK’s most colourful seaside destinations. Every summer, internationally renowned street artists arrive to create spectacular new murals across the town, adding to a growing collection of more than 70 large-scale artworks that can be enjoyed all year round.
Visit during the festival and you’ll see giant artworks taking shape before your eyes. Visit at any other time and you’ll discover one of the UK’s most impressive free outdoor art trails, stretching from the seafront to hidden streets and unexpected corners of the town.
Weston Wallz 2026
Weston Wallz returns this summer with 20 brand-new murals, transforming buildings across Weston-super-Mare into giant canvases once again.
Over ten days, artists from across the UK and beyond will create striking new works while community mural projects and the popular Scale Up programme give local artists the chance to paint on their biggest canvases yet. Visitors can watch the murals come to life, meet the artists and explore the town as Weston’s outdoor gallery continues to grow.

Don’t miss the festival finale
If you’re planning just one day to experience Weston Wallz, make it the final Saturday 25th July.
The Italian Gardens become the heart of the festival as the popular S.M.Art Spray Jam returns, bringing together artists from across the region for a full day of live painting. Watch murals evolve in real time, chat to the artists, enjoy live entertainment and soak up the creative atmosphere that spills across the seafront.
This year the finale also coincides with AfriFest, creating an exciting celebration of art, music, culture and community. With food, family activities and creativity around every corner, it’s one of the highlights of Weston’s summer events calendar.
Explore More Than 70 Murals
Every Weston Wallz leaves a permanent legacy. Once the festival ends, the artwork remains, creating a free outdoor gallery that can be explored throughout the year.
The trail takes you past iconic landmarks including the Grand Pier, Marine Lake, Birnbeck Pier and the town centre, with murals ranging from breathtaking portraits and wildlife to bold abstract pieces and playful illustrations.

Since launching in 2021, Weston Wallz has become one of the UK’s leading street art festivals, attracting internationally acclaimed artists while supporting emerging local talent through community projects and large-scale commissions.
