This Vintage Hornby Train event showcases the trains made by Meccano Limited between 1920 and 1964, but also includes other similar period products and compatible modern stock. There are also traders selling new and secondhand items. The layouts are in 0 gauge, running both electric and clockwork trains, and 00 (or Dublo) in 2 rail and 3 rail.
The King Alfred School has ample free on-site parking and is wheelchair friendly with good level access. Catering is by a local company with a van selling a variety of hot snacks and drinks. Admission is £5 for adults, accompanied children free, cash only please.
This event is organised by a regional group of the Hornby Railway Collectors Association which meets monthly in Weston-super-Mare.
