Food & neon crazy golf on England’s newest pier
Two great venues rolled into one on this crazily-short pier which has its own special place in the record books
The little Pier that packs in an awful lot
This little pier that sometimes doesn’t even get its toes wet because it is so short, packs in an awful lot. It has its own in-house bakery, an indoor glow-in-the-dark nine hole golf course, a large dining area and some of Weston-super-Mare’s best views.
Set on England’s newest purpose-built pier – Revo Kitchen and Terrace is full of welcome surprises and is a real favourite with locals as well as visitors. Sitting just out from the promenade, it offers some of Weston’s best views. From here, you can pick out both the Grand Pier and Birnbeck Pier. Being quite short, it’s hard to put your finger on why the views are so stunning – they just are. You won’t be disappointed.
More details
The perfect place to catch one of Weston’s famous sunsets
Outside, the balcony is a draw in its own right. With heaters in place, it’s somewhere to linger even as the temperature drops – and an ideal choice to watch one of Weston-super-Mare’s famous sunsets. However, if you don’t fancy a blanket and heater, it’s no problem because the huge windows offer the same vista to those preferring to stay indoors.
Relax and Unwind
The building itself has a past life as the old Seaquarium, but today the focus is firmly on relaxed, all-day dining. Mornings tend to revolve around coffee and fresh pastries from the bakery, while the menu carries through from breakfast to evening with a mix of familiar dishes and lighter options.
There are big comfy sofas and armchairs as well as dining tables and chairs. Revo has developed a real home from home feel, where you can find students with an espresso, work colleagues having a brunch meeting, a group of friends enjoying cocktails or a family having cakes and smoothies.
In-house Bakery
The on-site bakery at Revo Kitchen serves up a delicious smell as soon as you walk through the doors in the morning. The bakers produce a tempting display of freshly-baked pastries, cakes, tarts, savoury rolls, muffins, scones and more. They cater for dietary requirements, ranging from dairy free, gluten free and vegan. There is a popular take-away counter as well as the seated area.
food and drink
Revo serves breakfast, lunch and dinner offering classics such as fish & chips, crowd pleasing burgers and pizzas as well as some innovative ideas like their quesadilla stack.
They cater for a wide range of dietary requirements, offering dairy free, gluten free and vegan dishes.
Live music
Live music adds to the atmosphere across the weekend, with local performers playing on Friday and Saturday evenings, as well as there being a Sunday lunchtime slot. It’s a place that can be as low-key or as lively as you want it to be.
For something more playful, Revo’s glow-in-the-dark golf course is right next door.
revo glo golf
Right alongside the kitchen, Revo Glo Golf brings a different kind of seaside experience indoors.
This nine-hole crazy course swaps open skies for neon-lit interiors, with themed holes that lean into colour, light and a slightly off-beat atmosphere. It’s easy to dip in and out – no booking is needed – and works just as well for families as it does for a casual date or group outing.
A central bar means you can take a drink with you as you play, and the pace is entirely your own. It’s turn up and play and if you get lucky on the win-a-free-game hole, you’ll get double the fun!
When you’re done, Revo Kitchen is just next door for food, coffee or something stronger, making it easy to turn a quick game into a longer stay out on the pier.
Practical Information
Both Revo Kitchen and Revo Glo Golf are fully accessible, with step-free access throughout, and dogs are welcome in designated areas.
Metered parking is available along the seafront by Revo Pier, with charges varying by season and time of day – often easing in the evenings.
