The Royal Hotel in Weston-super–Mare, is an independent, family-run business just a short walk from many of Weston’s main attractions, including the beach, the Grand Pier, and The Winter Gardens.

This charming and palatial-looking grand hotel capitalises on its perfect location with stunning sea views and extensive lawns reaching to the promenade.

Guests are greeted by courteous and professional staff, eager to provide a 5-star service. The spacious reception area boasts a grand staircase leading to two floors full of 44 exceptional rooms ranging from standard and luxurious suites, each furnished with modern amenities ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay for every guest. 

This Georgian hotel opened in 1810 and recently won an award for its exterior redecoration.  Its facilities include a luxury newly-decorated restaurant, The Vine, which offers a huge variety of delicious dishes, catering for a range of tastes and requirements.

The Royal has two bars on site. One located in a comfortable lounge area, with a conservatory corner looking out on to the well-kept lawns and sea front. The other, on the side of the hotel, is a spacious open area, offering a huge variety of drinks to chose from and a friendly atmosphere making it the perfect spot for relaxation or social gatherings. Every weekend there is live entertainment or music in the bar, which is popular with guests and locals.

At the back of the hotel, there is a stunning big function room which consists of a huge open space, and big bay windows looking out on to the lawns, with the sea front as a beautiful back drop. The Royal presents a lot of events there with a capacity of up to 200 people. It caters for every possible event, ranging from birthdays, parties, to conferences. It is renowned for its weddings, providing a lovely space for couples to say “I do” in, and with spectacular event planners available, that special day can even be turned into something even more memorable.
