About Us

There’s more to a trip to the seaside than the beach at Weston-super-Mare thanks to the Water Adventure Play Park.

It is always open and the splash pad facility is open seasonally, usually from April until the end of summer, between 10am and 5pm. There is a charge of £3 per child when the water is on. Accompanying adults enter for free as do babies under the age of one. The charging period is from 10am - 5pm but the water will remain on until 6pm.

The park is located on the north side of the seafront next to Melrose Car Park between the Old Colonial and Welbeck Hotels en route to Marine Lake and Knightstone Island, the park is open all year round, (except for occasions when essential maintenance work is needed and extreme weather).

This seasonal splash pad has fountains and sprays triggered by sensors and buttons. Watch your children shriek with delight as they try to dodge the rain shower and get soaked by a sprinkler! If there are days when the splash pad is inoperational, the entry fee to the park will be waived - however, please note that the splash pad may be temporarily switched off to facilitate the system being flushed through in order to keep the water balance safe.

The wooden play equipment includes the Stockholm Castle, a double cable way and a toddler area where there's a short tunnel to crawl through and for those with a  musical leaning, there's a xylophone. A sand pit is located near the rear of the park along with a climbing pyramid and snake swing.

There's an independently-run cafe serving food and drinks.  It's the perfect spot for adults to sit and watch over the children enjoying a fabulous day out. There is both inside and outside seating,  toilets and changing rooms are on site too, with cubicles with "saloon" style doors to offer a changing room facility, avoiding the need to use the toilets as changing rooms.
