Join us for an inspiring afternoon with renowned jeweler and artist, Ian Shipton, at ART GALLERY & STUDIO by Aga Kubish. With over three decades of experience in jewelry making, Ian brings a wealth of knowledge and creativity to his craft.
Having graduated from Loughborough School of Art and Design with a BA (Hons) in Jewellery and Silversmithing in 1989, Ian has since pursued a diverse career path. From earning a MA Fine Art from Bath Spa University to teaching art and design at both FE and HE levels, his passion for creativity and education shines through.
Ian's artistic journey has led him to work on exciting projects, including creating public artworks and commissioned sculptures for notable figures such as Lord Melvyn Bragg and chef Michel Roux Jr. His innovative designs have even earned a place in The Design Museum's collection.
Currently, Ian is deeply involved in teaching jewelry design, painting, and launching the Codename Octopus collaborative network.
