About Us

Fly 1000ft over Weston-super-Mare for the best views in Somerset.

The Helicopter Museum will be hosting 7 flight dates in August giving visitors a chance to take to the skies and fly over the local coast line in a Bell JetRanger.

Anyone who would rather keep their feet on the ground can climb into the pilot's seat of one the museum's displayed aircraft with 'Open Cockpits'. Try out the basic controls of flying with one of our volunteer guides and pull on a pilot's helmet for a unique photo opportunity!

During flights the museum's helipad viewing area will be open allowing visitors to watch aircraft taking off and landing from close up!

All open cockpits are included in normal museum admission.
Experience flights are £40.50 and usually available on the day, however we recommend calling 01934 635227 to book and avoid disappointment.

Longer flights to Cheddar Gorge and the Severn Bridges are also available.
