About Us

‘The Blitz’ is a quaint, vintage Tearoom, inspired by, and focusing on World War Two and the sights and sounds of the early 1940s. Located just off Weston’s High Street ‘The Blitz’ is a one of a kind in this area. Try it while visiting Weston, and you’re sure to want to come back! It goes hand in hand with a trip to our museum of local history or enjoy a light lunch before a matinee at the theatre.

Come with us and take a stroll back in time to one of Britains most famous eras, the 1940s.

You will be lulled by our ambient, background, 40s music, while taking a leisurely look at our ever growing, fascinating collection of wartime and 1940s memorabilia. Yo can reminisce or learn, as there are also some activities for children.

So… sit back and enjoy the finest Loose Leaf Teas and Barista Coffee served in bone china cups and saucers, along with a mouth-wateringly tempting selection of delicious homemade Breakfast and Lunch meals, or treat yourself to one of our speciality Afternoon Teas with freshly baked Cakes and fluffy Scones (if you’re lucky, you might even catch the aroma of a fresh batch being brought out of the oven) accompanied by tasty, generously filled, delicately cut sandwiches, all made fresh on the premises.

We are delighted to offer you table service by our friendly Staff in their 1940s attire.

Your dietary requirements are also our concern: we aim to provide a variety of Vegan, Gluten and Dairy Free options, too.

If you have a favourite recipe, we might even add it to our list!

We offer a child-friendly menu, including mini afternoon tea and ‘kids breakfast’, in addition to the usual tasty snacks that children know and love, because we want your family’s experience here to be as enjoyable and memorable as possible.
