The Round Tower Guest House is situated on the seafront in Burnham-On-Sea, Somerset. If you are looking for a welcoming but unique place to stay then you will not be disappointed. Built in the eighteenth century The Round Tower Guest House is the original "round tower" lighthouse and is full of charm and character.

Imagine waking up in the morning to the glorious views across Bridgwater Bay and its miles of golden sands, or watching the tide come in and go out. It is the second fastest tide in the world!

In their lounge they provide puzzles, family games, and television. The lovely sandy beach is just across the road, with St Andrew's Church and Marine Cove Gardens close by you will be staying in an area oozing with history.

Breakfast is served in the Round Tower dining room overlooking the sea. They offer a Full English Breakfast, fruit juices; cereals, toast and marmalade, or jam, fruit, tea or coffee, or you may choose scrambled egg on toast if you prefer. They can cater for special dietary requirements with advance notice.

With St Andrew's Church and Marine Cove Gardens close by you will be staying in an area oozing with history.

Burnham on Sea is world famous for its lighthouses. Many people will recognise the Short and Tall Lighthouses but few, even locals, know about the oldest; The Round Tower Lighthouse from which Round Tower Guest House takes its name. Built in the eighteenth century this lighthouse has an interesting history which tells about the caring centre of our community.

Directions

Road Directions

From the motorway there are two sets of signposts for Burnham on Sea, you could take either of these routes. Leave the M5 Motorway at Junction 22 and follow the signs to Burnham on Sea. From the roundabout near the Total Garage take the first turning off the roundabout into Marine Drive which becomes Pier Street. At the T junction on the sea front opposite the jetty turn right. You will find us on the right hand side just past Marine Cove Gardens. Alternatively, if you follow the signs from the Motorway to Burnham on Sea town centre, at the roundabout by the Esso Garage take the second turning off the roundabout and continue along Berrow Road, pass the sports centre and turn left into Sea View Road. At the roundabout take the first turning off the roundabout and you will find us about two hundred yards on the left.

Public Transport Directions

By Rail: Trains stop at Highbridge and Burnham Station, from where it is possible to catch a local bus which stops about 150 yards from our front door. By Bus: Bridgwater, Highbridge, Taunton, Wellington, Wells and Weston-super-Mare. By Air: Bristol Airport is approximately 15 miles away.
