A CELEBRITY TV chef will be showing visitors to Puxton Park how to get a healthy start to the New Year at a cookery master class.The chef will be visiting the Puxton Farm Shop on February 19, 2014, to offer tips on healthy cooking.
During the showcase event at the park’s farmshop there will also be behind the scenes tours of the butchery department and free tastings on offer.
Head of Park, Susie Richards, said: “Over the Christmas period we all indulge and put on those festive pounds and so we are encouraging people to think about healthy eating this year.
“We are therefore thrilled that a TV chef will be coming to Puxton to offer people advice on healthy meals while we showcase everything our farmshop has to offer.”
The showcase follows on from a successful butchery showcase last year which demonstrated to visitors where Puxton sources its meat.
Mike Rowley, Master Butcher, said: “We are delighted to once again open our doors to the public to see behind the scenes and to showcase our butchery department.
“We will also be offering lots of free tastings on the day of our delicious healthy meats and local products from our shop.”
