1. What is there to see and do in Weston-super-Mare?

The following places are free of charge to visit: Weston Seafront, The Weston Street Art Trail,  Grove Park, Weston-super-Mare to Brean Walk and Weston Woods.

Paid attractions include; Water Adventure Play Park, The Grand PierSand Sculpture Festival, The Helicopter Museum, Puxton Park, Court Farm and SeaQuarium, For more ideas see a full list of things to do, or what's on.

2. Where are the public toilets in Weston-super-Mare?

Along Weston-super-Mare Seafront Toilets are located next to the Weston-super-Mare Sand Sculpture Festival, next to the Victorian Cafe and at Marine Lake for a fee of 20p, these toilets are run by Healthmatic. Town Centre public toilets are located in Grove Park and Clarence Park and Locking Road Car Park run by Weston Town Council for a fee of 20p. In Weston High Street, there are free toilets in The Sovereign Centre including disabled and baby changing.

4. When does the tide come in?

Weston-super-Mare has the second highest tidal range in the world, with the Bay of Bundy in Canada taking first place, and over the years the resort has become affectionately known as “Weston-super-Mud”, as at low tide, the tide recedes out to about one mile from the seafront, leaving a vast expanse of mud.  However, the beach itself is sandy and provides a vast expanse of safe golden sands.Tidal predictions are based on high and low water at Weston-super-Mare beach. All times have been adjusted for Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) and British Summer Time (BST) differences. 5. Where can I walk my dog on the beach?

Dogs are welcome all year round in the area between the Grand Pier and Knightstone Island and from Royal Sands Car Park to Uphill.

The area between Royal Sands Car Park and the Grand Pier and Marine Lake is a dog free area from 1st May until 30th September, dogs are welcome in this area from 1st October until 30th April.

6. Where are the nearest cashpoints on Weston-super-Mare Seafront?

> Inside Hayers Convenience Store on Princess Royal Square (£1.75 charge)

> Barclays Bank, Regent Street and various banks on the High Street

> Tesco Express on Whitecross Road (cross over the Beach Lawns opposite the Visitor Information Centre, turn right on Beach Road and left into Severn Road. 500m over Walliscote Road, staying on Severn Road)

7. When is the Weston-super-Mare Air Festival and Armed Forces Weekend?

The Weston-super-Mare Air Festival and Armed Forces weekend was a great success in 2017 and next years dates are 23 and 24 June 2018.

8. Can I hire a mobility scooter or wheelchair in Weston-super-Mare?

You can hire mobility scooters and wheelchairs daily or weekly from Daleway Mobility Centre from £5. They can deliver to local hotels free of charge. Daleway Mobility Centre is situated next to Carlton Street Multi Storey Car Park, around 200 metres from Weston-super-Mare Seafront.
