Activities in Weston-super-Mare

There are a wide range of activities in Weston-super-Mare, whatever your taste.  Many people are surprised about just what we do have available here as often we are thought of as not much more than a seaside, but from the relaxed to the extreme, and with plenty of opportunities to try your hand at various sports whatever your age, there is plenty to keep you active!

Of course, lots goes on on the beach including kitesurfing, an array of watersports and boat trips from Knightstone Island.  If it's some time on the green you are after, then try out Weston-super-Mare Golf Course, offering superb views over the channel to make tee time that little bit sweeter!  They have links with many of our accommodation providers to offer discounted breaks and rates for golfers.

For the more adventurous, or if you are visiting with a group of friends, try your hand at paintball, go karting or dry skiing and snowboarding!  Hutton Moor Leisure Centre has a full size pool and a children's pool, as well as gym, cafe and other activities.  They have dedicated swim slots for those with accessibility needs, and specialist gym equipment for people that have physical disabilities.

Wall Eden Farm situated in the nearby village of East Huntspill offer activity holidays suitable for groups of all ages, from kayaking to archery and even the odd archaeological dig, and at Webbington Farm Cottages set at the foot of the West Mendip Way, you will find a hot tub and a party barn, ideal to hire out for special occasions, be it a family celebration or a weekend away with the girls!  The Beach House on Weston seafront offers both the only 5 star rated accommodation in Weston-super-Mare and the only group holiday accommodation, sleeping up to 10 adults plus additional space for child beds and travel cots. All have ample storage for bikes, golf clubs and sporting equipment.

Weston-super-Mare is located in an ideal location for walkers and cyclists, with many National Trust sites including Sand Point and Brean Down, the West Mendip Way and the new stretch of the South West Coast Path from Minehead to our neighbouring resort of Brean.

There is certainly plenty to keep you on your toes, and we even have some rainy day suggestions too, just in case you don't bring the sunshine,
