If it’s shopping opportunities you’re after, then Weston super Mare’s town centre has plenty to offer.
Weston-super-Mare High Street is easily accessed from Weston seafront, and from the train station. It is safe, flat and pedestrianised so easy for those with mobility issues to get about and enoy everything on offer. You will find a selection of both High Street brands, such as Marks & Spencer, and independent shops and cafes.

The Sovereign Shopping Centre indoor shopping complex offers some of the top named brands at affordable prices, and is a great Weston-super-Mare shopping experience, especially on a rainy day! Be sure to watch the clock though, as on the hour it does a fantastic display that delights both young and old. 'Early Bird’ parking tariff specifically aimed at people working or commuting to Weston town centre. If you park before 9.00am and leave before 6.00pm then the maximum tariff is £3.00.
For a more independent Weston-super-Mare shopping experience, away from the main High Street there are several independent shopping districts where you will find an eclectic collection of independent shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and entertainment venues.
Grove Village is home to The Blakehay and The Playhouse theatres and some great smaller entertainment venues too; and St James Street, just a short stroll from the seafront, with superb restaurants and some of the shops that have relocated from the former Dolphin Square.
Florists, pet shops, jewellery shops, home furnishings, crafts and hobbies, hair salons, gaming and technology shops – there is something in Orchard Meadows for everyone!
